My theory is that because he's drunk (oh yes, drunk all the time) he doesn't remember what he's learned when he sobers up. Jason thinks that because he's drunk he thinks he's really good so he doesn't bother to try any harder. Either way it's frustrating and loud.
We're puppy sitting Jason's cousins dog! She's an all white english bulldog. Lucy isn't the biggest fan of her (she's actually ignoring her at all costs) but Petey is having fun with her. She's a biter though, luckily she has little tiny puppy teeth so it doesn't hurt. It's so much fun to have a puppy around! Especially one that we can give back tomorrow, haha! I'll put a picture behind a cut.

So I went out anyway, even though it's windy. From my kitchen window it didn't look that bad. I get out of my neighborhood on to the main street and their is trash everywhere blowing around (it was trash day here... lol lovely). I go north on that street to the main street to get to Target and there's dust blowing everywhere (we have a lot of new construction around for houses, that and we're a desert, it's dusty). I get almost to Target where we go over a tiny bridge for a river bed (it's always dry except for a few occasions of rain). You can't see the river bed at all, it's just dusty. You can't see more than two cars ahead of you when it gusts by. Target closed their garden center completely because of the wind. I had to really hold on to my car door when I was getting out because it felt like the wind could (and probably wouldn't, but I didn't want to risk it) rip it off. I'm a heavy girl I've been in a lot of wind storms here and Boston is incredibly windy, but I've never, until today, felt like I was almost blown over by the wind. The wind is at about 30 mph with gusts going to 45-50mph. It's crazy. I just hope Jason's trip home is okay...

Now here's the really crazy part. It's 54 degrees outside. Normally I'd be in sweaters and sweatpants and all bundled up. I'm sitting here in thin lounge pants and a tank top and I'm warm! I have socks on too and feels like I'm suffocating my feet. It's crazy. I had no idea that my body would change so fast when I got pregnant.

Jason's at work (one of those Saturday's he works so he has the two weeks off in December). It's actually cold today (we've had, quite possibly, the warmest winter this year) and the winds are supposed to gust up to 45mph so I don't really want to go out all that much.

I suppose I could clean. I just don't feel like doing that right now. Once I start I get crazy about it and it has to be *Perfect* and I just don't feel like it right now! lol

My dogs are nuts!
I don't remember if I've mentioned this before. In July, after we both started full time jobs, we set out a goal to be completely credit card debt free. I owed around $5500 total on credit cards, plus $3000 in student loans that did not have a locked rate (Jason's does at a little less than 2%). We set ourselves to a goal of having my credit card and student loan debt paid off by July of 2006. We thought a year would be good so we could adjust to the new bills of two car payments as well as higher insurance payments for the new cars.

Well as of Friday we are completely credit card and my student loan debt free! :) I also haven't touched my credit cards since July. I have no need to, unless an emergency comes up (which is why I have them) and I'm now aware that Old Navy will never be selling anything that is deemed as an emergency... Jason has one credit card that he puts all our monthly expenses (minus a few things that credit cards can't pay for) and pays it off before the finance charges hit (he's slightly crazy about it actually). It couldn't be better timing with the baby on the way.

My mind keeps racing. Hopefully I can go to sleep soon... lol

I had my first appointment today. I'm officially pregnant! :) My due date is November 1st. Which is the anniversary of my Nanny's passing... That will be fitting if we have a girl as we plan to name her Elizabeth because of her!

At first the woman in the office was looking at a chart and read it wrong saying that I'd be due September 1st... I was freaking out a little inside thinking how the heck could I be due then, that's two less months to plan! lol but she just read it wrong.

My doctor is Jason's cousins doctor and also the friend of one of the owners at work. I have to say it's slightly uncomfortable talking about one of the owners while I'm having a pap smear! lol But it went fine and the doctor is great! His office is lovely. I've never been in such a nice office, I kind of felt like I should be wearing high heels and pearls while walking in there! ;)

I talked to my sister and she actually seems very happy for us. I'm a little relieved, I wasnt' sure how she'd react, especially since about a day before she messaged me about wanting to talk about our plans to come out... SHe seems excited to be an Auntie!

Our moms are excited too! I really think my relationship with Jason's mom is getting stronger by the day. In the last four days she's called twice and one time she just wanted to talk to me, just me! And tonight when she called she talked to me for a few minutes before wanting to talk to Jason. It was really nice.

That's about all that's going on right now. I'm consumed with baby stuff right now. And I'm still getting sick and still smiling! All is good!

It doesn't seem real. I can't stop smiling, my face hurts from it! I told everyone at work, and they were all very happy for us. I told everyone except one of the owners who's very much the plan ahead type. I believe I told him by saying "Here are the fedex quotes, I'm pregnant, and here's your mail" all in one breath... I was a little nervous. But he laughed and said congratulations! I can't believe how happy I feel! I'm normally a really happy person anyway, and it's so much more than that now!!

I have my first doctor's appointment on Monday. He's apparently a great friend with one of the owners at work. I was not aware of this before, and it's a little strange for me now...

I don't think I've really updated lately. I don't know why.

The dogs started getting into things while were were gone. For almost a year they were good and never got into anything, then they started getting things off the dining room table (we're still not sure how they managed that) and china hutch. Jason bought an elaborate baby gate (for pets, but it's just a more expensive version of one you could get at Target for a toddler) and Petey jumped it and ripped up a few dvds. He has a thing about paper. Lucy has a thing about food, so we know who's at fault depending on what's chewed up. We were on a mission to find a cupboard to put dvds and cds in. We wanted a good sturdy piece of wood or super dooper plastic, and it also had to hold over 100 and be around $50 (we found a TON that were around $50 but only held about 60 dvds). We couldn't find anything. We wanted either a maple color, to match our other wood furniture, or black. Nothing. We went to two malls, two best buys, two circuit city's, two home depots, one lowes, three targets (they have cool stuff but it's really expensive for Target) and two Wal-Marts before we decided on upgrading our entertainment center. Then we complained because it was $88. We make over $70,000 a year and couldn't think to spend $88 on something! lol But now, with the new couches and furniture, our living room looks grown up! You know, besides the dog toys on the floor. The way we set up our living room it also looks much larger than it did, which is weird since we have our old entertainment center still in a corner, and our old couch in the other corner waiting to be picked up from a local donation center. It's going to look HUGE when they leave.

We saw Date Movie yesterday, ugh don't bother seeing that. We thought it looked really funny from the previews, but it absolutely stunk! The previews for Scary Movie 4 looked funny though, but I wasn't a fan of 2 and 3 so I don't know about that. It seems like if we see the movies in the cheap seats we like them so much more than if we see them at the regular theater, even if we see them at the cheap rate. Strange.

I have tomorrow off, for President's Day. I'm planning on getting up early and making Jason breakfast. Then I'll make a cake from scratch (this is mostly so I can practice decorating them and using all my new fun supplies). I also have a little bit of laundry left to do. I'll make dinner too. I'll feel like such a little Susie Homemaker! ; )

Oh, we got this lamp , not exactly this one, ours has 6 lights and only blue, red and yellow (2 of each) colored shades. Anywho we got this lamp for our wedding, but when you turn it on it lights up the same colors as the shades. We used it as a lamp in our guest room, which is painted pink, and it looked like it should have been in the red light district. But it's a perfectly good lamp and we wanted to be able to use it. So I came up with the bright idea to paint the inside of the shades black. It's almost worked. The paint hasn't taken to the plastic 100% so some areas are splotchy, but you can only notice when the light is on! lol Hopefully I'll be able to finish that tomorrow. I thought it was going to be perfect and we turned it on and laughed!

Okay I think that's enough.

In our relationship Jason and I have only purchased a bed (which was
just the mattress, boxspring and frame, no head/foot board), an
entertainment center, and two tvs. We have an entire house full of
furniture that we've been given by family. We've had two sofa's, a
loveseat and a Lazy-boy. But the first sofa was a pain to move, so we
donated it to a local school. We still have the love seat that matches
in our office. Our lazy-boy, which was my step dad's, has broken, it's
in two pieces. It looks fine propped against the living room wall, you
just can't sit in it. And our couch is the type with recliners in it,
however they stick a little bit and you have to keep your weight in
your back to keep them reclined. It's very uncomfortable. Jason gave me
the most ridiculous task of finding a couch for $300. Well, if we
wanted new that's not very possible. We spent more than $300, but we
bought a really nice sofa and loveseat today. Jason really liked it so
I didn't have to push him to buy it.

The loveseat, but in black (the fabric has flecks of beige in it though)
The sofa, also in black.

I'm so excited about them! They'll be delivered next weekend and we're donating the old couch and throwing away the chair.
Livejournal's been acting crazy for me today.
June - I did an MSN search for new cars last night and emailed two local Ford

August - I keep having dreams where I'm nine months pregnant and no one believes

    <lj:music>Arizona vs. Kansas</lj:music>

I overreact too much I think. I also stress about things too much. Last week I made a mistake at work (a big mistake in my opinion)and one of the owners said we should talk about how make sure it doesn't happen again. I took that as 'we're going to have a talk and to make sure it doesn't happen again we're going to let you go." I was CONVINCED I was going to be fired last week. Nothing anyone told me made me feel any other way about it. I even cleaned my desk on Friday thinking I needed to leave it clean for the next person... lol

Well yeah, I made the mistake, but it didn't cost any money and it was my first. But until today's meeting where the owner that told me we'd talk (which we never did actually) told me what he sees as far as the company's future, and I'm a strong factor in it. It's crazy how I overreact.

I've been a bit stressed this past month or so with various things going on at work and outside of work. But it's becoming much better now. I only have two more work days (I have Thursday and Friday off and paid) this week and they're looking to be relatively slow. We may even leave early on Wednesday. Then we also went over our December/January holiday schedules and we will have a half day on Friday the 23rd, off the 26 (paid) and off Jan. 2 (paid), and then I'm also taking off Dec. 28, 29 and 30. I would also take off the 27th but that's a payroll day and it didn't seem fair to leave that up to the other ladies when I'll be gone the whole week. I think it's a well deserved break.

Other than that not much is going on. We've started Christmas shopping, but hopefully we'll be finishing this in the next couple of weeks before it's too close to Christmas. We already know what we need to get for everyone already. We're actually going to brave the mall on Friday, bright and early. I'm excited, Jason is not, but he did this to himself! lol

My birthday is coming soon... I've never really felt the same about my birthday since my step dad died a few years ago, but it's coming nonetheless and I'll be 23. I bet it won't be that different from 22! ;)
